Let's get to know Lulu Roche, who will be playing Dr. Marguerite Argyle.
What's your hometown?
Boston
How did you get to NYC?
I came for a meeting when I was a fashion stylist and rented an apartment in Greenwich Village on a lark.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A million different things, all living on a cloud of art.
What's your favorite movie? What do you love about it ?
Nebraska, Cake, The Piano, Never on a Sunday, The Godfather, Birdman (not necessarily in that order). Art direction and photography are extremely important to me, as is a 'real' performance. If I no longer feel like I am watching but instead I am there, I'm into it.
What's your favorite TV show? What do you love about it?
An Honorable Woman, House of Cards, Amy Schumer...I'm not so big on watching t.v.
What's your favorite role that you've played? Why?
I enjoyed them all. It's a trip to somewhere new.
What's your favorite project that you've ever done? Why?
I loved any project in which I played with nice peeps.
What's your dream role? Why?
A woman my age, a survivor of a tough life.
What's your dream project? Why?
My plays becoming films! I'm working with a producer right now.
What drew you to Atomic Annie?
I luv mike. For real. He is a unique knucklehead!
What other projects are you working on?
I'm in a short called The Gift with Douglas Smith. I play Christine Evangelista's mom, and it just played the Northside Festival in Williamsburg. I'm working on a staged reading of my new play "Grand Concourse Radio" written for Joe Perrino and Joe Sikora. I am also continuing to decorate the interiors of a historical home in the Hudson River Valley and working on a new photography project...I am artistically greedy!
